I make my pots on a potter's wheel in my home studio currently located in Bodrum, Turkey. All my pieces are made in stoneware and are finished with custom glazes prepared by me. A preoccupation with observing textures, colors and forms in nature, combined with my love for simple everyday objects made by hand, has led me on the path to making ceramics. My aim is to create, surround myself with, and share with the world such objects that are inspired by the inherent design elements of the natural world and reflect the humble beauty of the hand made process. I would like my pieces to invoke a sense of unassuming charm and elegance while being appropriate for every day use and never too far off from an earthy feeling. Thank you for visiting and for your interest in my work, I hope my fascination with the craft will somehow pass on to you when you hold one of my pots in your hands.
